We do large, complex commercial and municipal work — which means when we show up for a driveway or other residential work, we bring the same base prep, and the same forming standards.
Most of what makes concrete fail happens before anyone pours: bad subgrade, wrong thickness, joints in the wrong place, draining water with nowhere to go. We don’t take a shortcut through this part. Those are decisions made on paper, and having engineers in-house means they get made deliberately.
We work throughout the River Valley and Northwest Arkansas, and we mix on site with our volumetric trucks — so you get fresh concrete in the exact volume the job needs.

Driveways
The most-used surface on your property and the first thing anyone sees. We build for vehicle weight, drainage, and the freeze-thaw swings the River Valley gets each winter.
Foundations
Footings, thickened-edge slabs, monolithic pads, and slab-on-grade for new builds and additions. Formed and reinforced to the engineered plan, inspected before the pour.
Other Flatwork
Sidewalks, patios, ADA compliant ramps, dumpster pads, equipment slabs, and loading areas. Correct thickness and joint layout for the traffic the surface will actually see.
Drainage
Storm drains, trench drains, curb and gutter, and grading that moves water off the surface instead of under it. Water is what kills concrete — plan for it first.
Other Exterior Work
Steps, aprons, bollards, pier & sonotube pours. Preparatory earthwork and grading. Demolition and replace-in-place on failed/cracked slabs.
Retaining Walls
Poured walls and dry-stack Verti-Block Systems for grade changes, embankments, and erosion control. Verti-Block stacks without mortar, so walls go up faster with less labor and less downtime.
We mix it on your site, not at a plant
Most concrete arrives pre-mixed in a barrel truck. Ours arrives as raw materials — cement, aggregate, sand, water, and admixtures — metered and mixed right at your site as we pour. That puts a few things in your favor:

How it works
1. Call or send a request
Reach us through the form, email, or by phone. We respond within one business day to set up a site visit.
2. On-site estimate
We measure, check the subgrade and drainage, and look at access, slope, tree roots, and existing damage. You get a written itemized estimate covering the full scope.
3. Planning & Permits
Our engineering group confirms thickness, reinforcement, finish, and joint layout, reviews the plans against site conditions, and coordinates directly with your architect, GC, or engineer of record. We pull the permits the job requires before work starts.
4. Prep and Pour
Demo and haul-off if needed, then grading, base compaction, forms, and steel. The pour is scheduled around weather and, in summer, around the heat of the day.
5. Cure and walk-through
We clean the site, walk the finished work with you, and tell you exactly when the surface can take foot traffic and when it can take a vehicle. Typically 24-48 hrs before foot traffic, about 7 days before vehicle parking.

What you should know
Not every crack is a problem
Every slab develops hairline cracks as it cures — it’s normal and it’s called shrinkage, not failure. Worry when sections shift vertically, when a crack runs the full depth, or when it keeps growing months later. Those point at the base underneath, not the surface.
The base decides the lifespan
A four-inch slab on a properly compacted base will outlast a six-inch slab poured on soft ground. Before you compare bids on thickness, ask each contractor what they’re doing below the concrete — that’s where the difference actually is.
Weather sets the schedule
Arkansas summers push past 95° regularly, and concrete that dries too fast never reaches full strength. Below 40°, curing stalls without protection. Spring and fall are the easy windows, but a crew that plans around the heat pours all summer.
Curing isn’t the same as drying
A slab looks finished long before it is. Concrete keeps gaining strength for about 28 days, and the first seven matter most. Putting weight on it early causes damage that can’t be undone later — no matter how dry the surface feels.
Volumetric-mixed concrete is produced under ASTM C685 (Standard Specification for Concrete Made by Volumetric Batching and Continuous Mixing), the counterpart to ASTM C94 for plant-batched ready mix.
