About Goodwin Ready Mix
Goodwin & Goodwin Inc. has been a licensed Arkansas contractor since 1980, pouring concrete across Fort Smith and the River Valley for four decades.
In 2023, we added volumetric mixing trucks to the fleet and formed Goodwin Ready Mix to put them to work — mixing fresh concrete on site, in the exact volume each job needs.
Same ownership, same crews, same equipment, and the same specs that have held up on Arkansas job sites for four decades. When you hire Goodwin Ready Mix, the people showing up have been pouring in this part of the state a long time.
We’re licensed through the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board — license #0016960427 — and you can verify it through the Board’s public contractor search at aclb2.arkansas.gov.
How We’re Set up
Engineering in-house. Our engineering group specs every job before a form goes in the ground — subgrade, thickness, reinforcement, joint layout, drainage. On commercial work they coordinate directly with architects, GCs, or engineers, which means plan conflicts can get resolved the same day instead of routed through a third party.
On-site volumetric mixing. We run two ProAll P95 volumetric mixers — the largest in ProAll’s lineup — and we’re growing the fleet. We mix concrete at your pour rather than hauling it pre-mixed from a plant. You pay for the volume actually placed, the mix can be adjusted mid-pour, and nothing sits in a drum losing workability during a haul. It also makes small and remote jobs practical that a barrel truck can’t serve economically.
Crew staffed to the work. Our crews handle demo, base prep, forms, steel, and the concrete pour. Whatever the job is, the people running it have done it on Arkansas sites, in Arkansas weather, on Arkansas subgrade.
